Why NeuroBalance exists.
NeuroBalance, formerly Brain Health and Biofeedback Clinic, was founded by Dr. Elizabeth Harris. As a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, a BCIA-certified neurotherapist, and an ACNEM Member, Dr. Harris brings a strong background in general practice, emergency medicine, environmental health, and neurotherapy to her work.
After years in mainstream medicine, she became increasingly focused on what lies beneath the surface of mental health, brain function, and nervous system regulation. This led to a deeper interest in how the brain and body can be supported when the right conditions are understood and addressed.
From Brain Health and Biofeedback Clinic to NeuroBalance
The clinic began with a focus on brain health, biofeedback, and neurotherapy. Over time, the work has evolved into a more complete, whole-person approach guided by the NeuroBalance 5D Science Model.
Today, NeuroBalance looks across brain, body, mind, lifestyle, and chemistry to better understand what may be affecting a person’s symptoms, function, recovery, and overall well-being.
Our Philosophy
The common thread from the earliest days of the clinic to today is a commitment to looking deeper.
Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, NeuroBalance helps clients understand the broader patterns that may be influencing how they think, feel, sleep, focus, recover, and function in daily life. Our goal is to guide each person toward the most appropriate program or next step with clarity, care, and support.
